A low tension line simply means low voltage and a high tension line simply means high voltage. If you have a three-phase connection you receive an LT supply of 400 volts. For a single connection, you will receive 230 volts. If you require bulk power to run your system you will be needing High tension or HT supply.

What is HT and LT?

- LT (low tension/or low voltage) having below 1KV i.e 220/440v
- HT(high transmission/high voltage) having 33kv up to 220kv.
Low Tension (LT) consumer means a consumer who is supplied electricity at Low or medium voltage. Low Tension (LT) consumer means a Consumer who is supplied electricity at 415 V, 3 Phase or 240 V, Single Phase.
